By the way, as it's close to the road with some traffic, expect some noise. It was also very clean and well maintained. The room itself was very spacious! You can hardly get a room like this at the same or similar price in Palermo. The Teatro Massimo, the Quattro Canti, the pedestrian areas and other tourist attractions are just within walking distance. Right in the centre of Palermo, only a few minutes' walks from the airport bus stop at the Teatro Politeama Garibaldi, the location is just perfect. We want to go back as soon as they can and will pick this hotel again. It was so reassuring knowing that they were in caring hands. I truly believe their great service actually helped my mom and her friend recover quicker. My mom and her friend both said she had such a pleasant personality and made them feel cared about and loved. They were stuck there over Easter and she even brought my mom a chocolate Easter bunny :) and she brought them flowers too and it really brightened their day. She would stop by to see my mom and help her with whatever she needed, such as going to the supermarket to get medical supplies. One employee in particular, Barbara, went above and beyond. My mom and her friend were living off room service and would rave about how great the food and wine was. They reassured my mom and were always available to help. They knew their room number and would ask how my mom was feeling when she called to order breakfast (which is a great breakfast by the way). I was terrified leaving them in Sicily while I went home but the staff took such good care of them. They caught COVID and were quarantined to this hotel. My main reason for writing this review to highlight the AMAZING care the staff provided to my mom and her friend. My mom's room had a huge balcony that we spent time on soaking up the sun and the sounds of the city. One of our rooms had a view of the hills and the other was street side. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable with big bathrooms. It's right in the middle of so many sights and felt safe. We stayed at this hotel two separate times during our stay in Sicily in April 2022. Conveniences include desks and coffee/tea makers, and housekeeping is provided daily.
